So these are really sucky pictures until I get the better camera's battery charged. I haven't decided if I want to take pictures outside (which means I'll have to wait until the rain stops) or in the soon-to-be-finished studio.

I made this dress in roughly 8 hours total. Like I mentioned in my blog, my Molly decided I needed to go swing dancing with her, and I had nothing at all to wear.

The bodice was specially designed so that I wouldn't have to wear a bra and the girls would still be kept firmly in place, even if someone was insane enough to try an aerial with me (thankfully, that didn't happen).

The skirt is a full circle plus about another fourth for extra spinning power. The photo of the spin does not do this skirt justice.

And I forgot to take a picture of it, but the entire dress is lined with the same red the straps and belt are made of, so it was still pretty when I spun.

Materials are 100% cotton, and the fabric is an Alexander Henry. I've got another colorway of this pattern for another swing dress for the Jive Aces show.
